the {w} family

now, most of you that read my blog regularly know that i have a leeeeetle problem. i am have a hard time with a normal sized post. it's eather one, or twenty- no inbetween. i guess i'm just an all or nothin' type of gal.  this would probably have been an average sized post, but as you also probably know, I am mildly infatuated with an almost three year old named Jonas. he happens to be the most photogenic kid on the planet, and so is the rest of his family for that matter! so enjoy just SOME (some!?) of my favorites!

Brady and Josie PART II: Seattle Temple

Here's part two of Brady and Josie's wedding- the temple! They were so sweet and SO happy, it was so sweet just watching them interact. While they looked beautiful, the weather was pretty typical for Seattle... rain. and lots of it. So if you're wondering why the umbrellas were in so many shots, well, it was a necessity.

sweet Sofia...

and daddy

After all the family left, Brady and Josie had their own private ring exchange in the wooded area on temple grounds. They exchanged vows and poured their hearts out- it was the sweetest thing I have ever (over)heard! I was totally crying while I took these.

We stayed in this area and kept it pretty short for our "temple" shots since the actual temple was covered in scaffolding. Plus the trees protected us from the rain a little!

what do you think? any favorites?

coming next:
my FAVORITE part, our DOWNTOWN shoot!

FINALLY!!! brady and josie, part I

Remember this picture? It is by far and away probably one of my favorite wedding shots, and definitely the most viewed of any of my photos ever (according to flickr). So why have I been avoiding posting the rest? Because it was overwhelming. This couple is TOO perfect and I have hundreds and hundreds and HUNDREDS of good shots. So I decided to break it up! I thought this would be a great way to show off what you get when you book my unlimited wedding package, memories from your ENTIRE wedding day, from the moment you start getting ready until you leave your reception that night. enjoy part one...

several families,
a fun session from florida,

and especially, especially the p r o j e c t [click on it] i've been working on for

three months

(and that I really really really hope you all come to! because it will be amazing
and make you feel good.)

i am so behind on blogging.

I really promised myself that I would not be doing any more quick one shot posts, as they annoy even ME. Oh, but when I edited this shot, I couldn't stop staring at it. Little Jonas (Jonesy, as his family calls him) is beyond perfection!

Don't you agree?
And I am simply obsessed with his name.
I wonder if they would mind if I borrowed it for one of my own some day. . .
not an announcement of any kind.

for amy f.

aren't they the most gorgeous family  of four? I loved taking this families pictures. they are so cute and the girls had the most adorable little outfits. I contacted amy a few months ago hoping she could fit my family in for a session and was a little shocked when she was interested in a trade. I really love amy's photography and have been following her blog for a while now, so to be honest, I was honored. And probably a little (or a lot?) intimidated too! It was a relief to find out that she was so kind and genuine. My nerves quickly became a thing of the past. Thanks for the fun afternoon Amy! It was nice meeting you... in person that is.

I can't wait for our family session with AMY tomorrow! I can't for the life of me decide what we're going to wear....

the whole family

sweet simone. this is my favorite of her!
this building is acutally a crazy orange, but I really love it in b/w for some reason.

I love how lovey estee is being to simone! look at that big fat kiss.
is there anything like the love of a sister? I think not.

these three shots on the bench have to be my very favorite from the session

miss estee was not too sure she wanted much to do with me or my camera, but we managed to get this adorable little smile to come out for a minute!

I love this one purely for those chubby little thighs. Nothing better than baby legs!

I died when I saw this one. They are the most striking couple!
