tanya, barefoot bridals.

sigh. this may very well be one of my all time favorite bridal sessions! tanya is an absolute dream to photograph. i loved the simple earthy approach to her bridal session.  she really didn't have shoes on the entire night. we started a little later in the evening than normal and chased the light all night! which ended up suiting us just fine. and when tanya started running down the pathway to see if we could get to our next location that way, i hit the floor. and then made her keep running! i was in love.

i can't get enough of the darling couples i've been shooting this spring! rachel and andy were just the sweetest... can't wait to share all that i've been up to!

the sweet life.

i couldn't help but share these little gems of my lulu girl "helping" make the frosting for max's birthday cake. i started out letting her help stir, and next thing you know, i have a nakey baby on the counter taking charge of the whole thing. and the mess... if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. ;) 

figuring everything out with three kids has been HARD. but these photos are just a little reminder of how sweet and beautiful my day to day life as a mother is. i could not be more thankful.

i just love this girl. what makes your life sweet? here's to hoping we each see it just a little bit more clearly today. xoxo

jamie + brent, salt lake temple

jamie and brent. i don't really think i can explain how much i'm in love with this couple! jamie might just be the sweetest bride (no, sweetest PERSON) i've ever met in my life, and i just adored her! she and brent have the most thoughtful, quietly loving way about their relationship. i was lucky enough to shoot with david as the videographer and heather second shooting, and we all agreed that couples like jamie and brent is what made us fall in love with shooting weddings to begin with... enjoy. xoxo

oh, and i should add that jamie has THE CUTEST little brothers on the planet. they have an extremely close relationship that was just adorable to watch... which is how i'm justifying posting as many pictures of them as i did. ;) don't judge me.
